FAQ’s

What is The Backyard?

We want to create a space for the community to come together and do something! Enjoy a meal in downtown Wheaton at Dough, 302 or one of the many other great restaurants and then come on by! We’ll usually have something going on!

Is it a private event space?

Not necessarily. We want the space to be accessible daily. We are open to private or corporate events during the day, but will typically have scheduled entertainment during the evenings. It’s a large space, so if you’re looking for something for 20-30, a partial buy out is the way to go!

Will there be food?

Yes! The Backyard will share the same kitchen as Dough (pizza sports bar up front). There will be appetizers, salads and of course pizza!

Can I bring the kids?

The Backyard can be a blast for families. We just ask that the little ones head out in the evenings. We understand that Wheaton is a very family friendly town. We would like The Backyard to be a destination for adults.

Are pets allowed inside?

Only service dogs will be allowed inside Dough and The Backyard. ESAs do not fall under the ADA and will not be allowed inside. Service animals may be asked if they are a service animal and what service they have been trained to perform. If a service animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety to others or if the animal is not housebroken it will be asked to leave.

Do I need a reservation?

Currently, no. Once fully operational, most likely.
